About Us
Customer Underground is a new site taking an irreverent look at the best and worst of customer service in Australia.
Our goal is to empower customers by giving them a place where they can say what they really think about the service they're getting, and ultimately change how Australian businesses treat them.
We do that in three ways:
- by featuring all our users' customer service stories and comments
- ranking businesses on their customer service, using your ratings and polls
- sharing our own views, stories and news about all things customer service in Australia
Why did we start the Underground? Because we finally got to the point where being put on hold one more time, shunted between departments, getting one more form letter, didn't just make us want to scream... it made us want to change things.
We reckon there's plenty of other customers who feel like we do.
Using Customer Underground is cathartic and it’s free. It’s a way to help fellow customers, get things off your chest, and help businesses improve. Anyone can join — customers, businesses, even the guy who comes on to tell you they're "currently experiencing higher than expected call volumes". We're both for the customer and the company: we believe service done well is better for all.
